Blog #3 Why do I need AGS360 Asset Management?

Features and benefits. Why do I need AGS360 Asset Management?

This blog will provide you with mid-level detail on what AGS360 is, who it’s for and most importantly provide 5 examples of the benefits it can bring to your organisation.

If you are looking for a more generalised overview of Asset Management, we recommend reading our blog ‘What is Asset Management

Let’s dive in and understand a bit more about AGS360…

What is AGS360?

In its most basic form AGS360 is primarily an Asset Management system, with a Workflow Management system and a Compliance Management system rolled into a single piece of cloud-based software

All too often AGS has seen the roles of Asset Manager (typically FM or Estates Manager), Compliance Manager (Usually H&S) and Workflow Manager (Usually Operations) treated in silos by their organisations. The aim with AGS360 is to not only give these users a way of fully managing asset information, but to also provide a platform from which they can do something with that information in a collective context.

The AGS360 platform is entirely integrated with no bolt-ons. It is simple and common in its approach and it is asset lead.

Every user should be able to contribute and benefit from the amassed historical and live information held against each asset within the AGS360 system.

Who is AGS360 aimed at serving?

At AGS we often get asked, what industries do you work with? Our answer is simply, any industry that our customers operate within.

We have customers in global shipping, fashion, retail, construction, education and are working with prospective clients in Civil engineering, Utilities, social housing and manufacturing.

Although different industries have their niches and nuances, broadly they all require the same thing. They all have assets, they all need to know something about those assets, they all need to do something with those assets.

The organisations AGS typically works with require the ability to manage large volumes of assets, usually across multiple sites, large single sites and large portfolios of properties. The assets range from fixed and mobile items such as furniture, plant, electrical, fire, IT, etc. but it can be varied based on requirement.

Our clients tend to require a single system to provide working efficiencies and data sharing between the various organisational elements responsible for the management of their assets. See the examples illustrated within the graphic below.

Occasionally the odd external integration is required. To facilitate this need, AGS360 has an open, 2-way API so we are more than happy to discuss your integration needs.
